Welcome ***FEBRUARY*** We welcome February with happy hearts this month as we meet Primrose Friend, Megy, a computer-savvy pig who loves technology, teaching children about conservation. We also have plenty of special events planned this month including Valentine's Day classroom parties, a Family Dance Night, "Og's Bountiful Books" Helping Hands event, and preparations for "Read Across America Day" on Dr. Seuss' birthday on March 2nd.
Explorers become authors and illustrators this month as they learn more about favorite authors, find out what it takes to publish a story or poem, and explore characters and story lines from their favorite books! Book of the Month titles, "Many Moons" by James Thurber and "Previously" by Allan Ahlberg offer fun twists on traditional fairy tale themes.
Our annual Parent Survey will be available for your response on-line through an independent survey company. It is important to us to get your in-put and continue to improve on our programs. You will receive a letter with detailed instructions. We would love to hear from each and every one of our Primrose families, Please participate, YOUR opinion counts!
