Welcome ***MARCH*** Spring has sprung! With eager anticipation of its arrival children learn about birds, insects, weather, and signs of spring this month. Children are natural scientists and the themes this month allow them to experience the wonders of Mother Nature firsthand. Mid-month children create special spring bonnets and hats to celebrate the first day of spring with the Spring Bonnet Parade!
Explorers investigate the wonderful, wacky, slushy, and sloppy world of weather this month with "Weather: 100% Chance of Fun!" Even Book of the Month titles, "Oh Say Can You Say What’s the Weather Today?" by Tish Rabe and "Wild Weather Soup" by Caroline Formby" help students explore the theme in wild and wacky ways!
Throughout the month all age groups will learn about kindness and caring through our Posies & Pollywogs and Way to Be! character development programs. We also celebrate the joy of reading at the beginning of the month with our "Read Across America Day" celebration.

BOOKFLIX...Good News! As a Primrose Parent you now have access to a fun, early reading program and online library that you and your child can access from home! To access BookFlix at home, click Bookflix! here. A username and password is available at the school.
Scholastic BookFlix is an online literacy resource that pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related non-fiction eBooks from Scholastic to build a love of reading and learning. This engaging resource for children in preschool through elementary school will help early readers develop and practice essential reading skills and introduces students to a world of knowledge and exploration.
